I created this as a commissioned tattoo design for a friend of mine who wanted me to combine the elements of water and earth into a dragon. I tried not to get to much of the air element in there, but wings made it more uniform and my friend wanted the wings to wrap around her lower back. Lots of fun with ink!

This is one of my prouder works that I spent hours detailing. I feel that adding color would take away from the time I spent on the linework... but if anyone has suggestions for ways to not kill the detail in coloring, I am up for the challenge.

I finished this in 2005, but its still one of my best artistic acheivements. It was a mothers day/birthday gift for my mom. Just a sketch colored in photoshop. :)
